Biography

Dr. Oruganti is a Board Certified Family physician and Geriatrician in the Nashville- Brentwood area. She attended Medical School at Bangalore Medical College, India. She earned her medical degree in Family and Preventive Medicine, and fellowship in Geriatric Medicine from the University Of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Little Rock, AR.

Dr. Oruganti moved to Nashville in 2007. She has been a practicing physician since then with more than 14 years of experience. She has worked in one of the medically underserved areas for a few years and then moved to the Murfreesboro area. Her interests are in preventive care and chronic disease management. Dr. Oruganti believes in building relationships founded on trust, compassion, communication, and partnering with her patients in their journey towards better health.

Dr. Oruganti is married and lives with her family in Williamson County. She has a daughter in High School and a son in middle school. She has made middle TN her home as it has everything to offer; the weather and outdoors are some of the best. In her spare time, she spends time with her family, friends and enjoys the outdoors.
